Taiwanese bulker owner U-Ming Marine Transport has seen profit rise in the first quarter as revenue rose.
The company said net profit to 31 March was TWD 211m ($7.0m), up from a loss of TWD 17m in 2017.
Revenue jumped to TWD 2.18bn compared to TWD 1.79bn, while operating costs were TWD 1.98bn from TWD 1.71bn.
The gain from its share of joint ventures and associates was TWD 12.82m,
