The company said Imabari Shipbuilding will deliver one firm 76,500-dwt ship at"a competitive price" in June 2014.
There is one option attached to the contract.
TCC said: “The newbuilding vessels are designed with high specifications andstructural standards to support optimum cargo intake and efficient fuelconsumption."
The deal will give the owner “a larger tonnage base for our long termambitions in servicing our key clients,” it added.
