The WL Ross & Co chairman played it closeto the chest when contacted by TradeWinds about the formation of Nautical BulkHoldings, the joint venture that penned the newbuildings, but did shed light onthe reasoning behind the choice of size.
“Welike this class of bulker because it’s the largest one with self-containedcranes and features that enable it to serve an extremely large number ofports,” Ross said when asked about vessels he described as “the workhorses ofthe sea”.
