Ithas secured significantly higher rates for most of its bulker fleet in itslatest round of short-term fixtures, a regulatory disclosure to the London Stock Exchange shows.
Atthe end of August only two of its nine strong bulker fleet was earning $10,000or above in daily charter rates.
Today,seven of those nine ships are now earning in excess of $10,000 per day with oneship – the 57,000-dwt Pisti (built 2011) seeing its former rate doubled.
