The Panamanian-flaggedDonald Duckling (built 1997) was detained by the UK’s Maritime & Coastguard Agency in Tyne Portlast week after an inspectionuncovered a long list of serious deficiencies.
The union claims crewmembers on the ship had such poor food provisions onboard that theywere forced to catch fish which they had to cook on deck because galleyequipment was out of order.
