Boskalis’ 12,300-dwt dredger Cornelis Zanen (built 1982) washeld for four days at Southampton with 13 deficiencies, three of which were groundsfor detention.

These were related to its discharge arrangements, watertightdoors and the ISM code.

The 9,400-dwt general cargoship Isis (built 2006) was stilldetained at the end of March in Falmouth.

The vessel, operated by Derna Carriers of Greece, wasfounded to have 12 deficiencies and six grounds for detention, including an invalid air pollution certificate, hull corrosion, damaged hatchways and insufficientpower in its auxiliary engine.
