A disclosure to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said Bugbee had bought another 10,000 shares in the US-listed bulker owner.
The shares were acquired on 30 June 2014 according to the disclosure when the shares traded at between $8.70 and $8.90 each.
This latest acquisition takes his expenditure on Scorpio Bulkers shares to an estimated $1.3m in less than two months.
