Freeport reached an agreement with the state late last month to end a dispute over a controversial escalating tax on metal concentrates.
Reuters reported that company spokeswoman, Daisy Primayanti, confirmed that the 10,000-tonne shipment to China was completed late Thursday.
It was only yesterday when Freeport’s CEO, Rozik Soetjipto, announced that the production at the company’s mining complex was back to normal.
