The bulker owner, which has listings in Singapore and Hong Kong, reported a deficit of $871,000 in the period, a slight improvement on the $938,000 loss of a year ago.
Its progress came despite a 14% dip in revenue to $4.53m and higher costs, thanks to a $1.5m inflow from the disposal of the 151,000-dwt bulker Cape Warrior (built 1995).
As TradeWinds has reported, the ship sold to Vista Shipping for $9.5m.
