The 76,000-dwt Japanese-controlled and built Golden Kiji (built 2007) is reported sold for $19.5m.
UK-based online plattform company Vessels.Value.com says the ship is worth $20.5m.
The Nissen Kaiun bulker is coming off a period charter to Golden Ocean Group in September.
