The German utility is booking the New York-listed bulker owner’s 75,200-dwt Dione (built 2001) for a minimum of 13 months, according to fixture data from the Baltic Exchange.
RWE will pay $9,100 per day for the vessel. The deal is worth up to $4.64m.
Athens-based Diana has yet to confirm the deal.
The Simeon Palios-led shipowner revealed in August that RWE chartered its 82,200-dwt Maia (built 2009) for $12,000 per day, minus a 5% commission, for 12 to 16 months.
