The agency said it seized the 719 grams of the illegal drug last week from the 1,250-dwt general cargoship Borocho (built 1977), which was stopped in the Caribbean on 8 September.
Crews from the the Coast Guard Cutter Bear boarded the vessel and found several packages of cocaine hidden throughout the ship.
US authorities have seized cocaine with a wholesale value of nearly $105m from cargoships in recent weeks.
