And it said it was now negotiating with the shipyard for delivery dates in 2016 and 2017.
“We intend to build 10 new ships, but the shipbuilder is not decided yet,” a spokesperson told TradeWinds.
The new delivery gives the owner “about 20 units” trading in the Atlantic basin.
The vessels were ordered at $22m each, according to earlier TradeWinds’ reports. The ships today could cost nearer to $25m each.
