The Western Australian facility shipped out 37.5mt of the steel making ingredient in October, surpassing August’s record of 37.4mt.
China accounted for 31.7mt, the second highest volume after August’s record 32.1mt, according to Pilbara Ports Authority.
Some 2.2mt of iron ore was shipped to Japan, down from 2.8mt the previous month, while 2.3mt headed to South Korea versus the 2.7mt in September.
