Prothonotary Richard Morneau gave his thumbs up to the sale of the 29,400-dwt Phoenix Sun (ex-VSL Centurion, built 1987) for nearly CAD $683,000 ($604,000), according to the Federal Court docket.
The buyer, one of two vying for the ship, is a company known as Holborn Shipping. The company is understood to be planning to scrap the ship in India.
