Leading sale and purchase brokers tell TradeWinds Bulkseas was the only bidder for the 76,500-dwt Sea of Future (built 2005).
However, its $12m offer fell some way from the owner’s ambitions, which are understood to be closer to the $15.6m price tag VesselsValue.com places on the bulker today.
Sources suggest Sea of Future’s South Korean owner Daebo International will press on with a second sales effort in the new year.
