The Belgian bulker operator reported a deficit of $20.6m for the three months to 31 December, versus a gain of $7.3m in the comparable period a year prior.
In the fourth-quarter of 2014 the company’s capesize, panamax, handymax and handysize bulkers earned $19,902, $11,181, $7,221 and $6,500 on average per day, respectively.
Twelve months prior the operator pointed out that these same classes of tonnage raked in approximately $27,023, $18,031, $14,328 and $8,956 daily on average.
