WBC has fixed the 84,000-dwt Q Deb (built 2014) for four to seven months at $7,750 daily, the Baltic Exchange reports today.
According to Quintana’s IPO prospectus filed last year the ship was on time charter to Glencore until this month at $16,000 daily.
The new rate level is ahead of the $4,940 daily panamaxes are earning globally on the spot market right now.
