Greek owner Sea Pioneer is reported to have exited the bulker market with the disposal of its only capesize.
Vasilis Bacolitsas-led Sea Pioneer has sent the 161,000-dwt Prosperity (built 1995) to be cut up in Pakistan, it is claimed.
Attempts to reach the Greek owner for comment were not immediately successful this morning.
Cash buyer GMS placed a price of $420 per ldt on the ship, which works out at $8.4m
