The Shin Kurushima-built, 46,000-dwt Emily Manx (built 2001) was said to have gone to a European, possibly Greek, buyer for $10.5m.
At the time, owner Lars Torger Ugland declined to comment on the sale but the ship has now been included in the Lumoso fleet and has been renamed Lumoso Surya.
Ugland bought the ship as Los Andes for $20.3m in June 2011.
