Muhieddine has sent the 25,500-dwt Amar Muhieddine (built 1984) for demolition in Pakistan, it is reported.
A price of $403 per ldt is placed on the ship by GMS, equal to $2.3m for the seller.
Muhieddine bought the vessel from a Singaporean owner as Spirit of Alpha in 2006 for $6.75m.
The sale would leave Muhieddine with two trading bulkers and the 42,200-dwt bulker Sea
