The six 57,000-dwt and three 55,000-dwt carriers are being leased for eight months at rates not exceeding CNY 85m ($13.69m), which breaks down to about $6,100 per ship per day.
The owners are China Shipping Group subsidiaries China Shipping Haisheng and China Shipping Industry.
The deals will run from May to December, it told the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
