ESL Shipping has signed a long-term deal with compatriot energy company Fortum to import biofuel cargoes into Sweden.
The contract, which will see it transport the cargoes to the new Vartan Energy Port in Stockholm is due to start at the end of the year.
ESL Shipping, which is part of the Finnish conglomerate ASPO Plc, says the deal provides it with access to the renewable fuels transport market.
