A US judge has ordered the seizure of a Fujian Ocean Shipping Co (Fosco) bulker in New Orleans after refusing ING Bank’s first attempt to hold the ship in its efforts to recover OW Bunker bills.
District Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown, of the federal court in the Louisiana city, ordered the attachment of the 81,700-dwt Zheng Yao (built 2014) to secure ING’s claim of $3.42m.
