Three directors of embattled bulker owner Mercator Lines (Singapore) resigned en masse, leaving the founding family duo to helm the board.
Mercator said Huan Yuan Chiang, Arul Chandran and Maria Helena Dieleman have resigned as non-executive directors of the company effective immediately.
The directors all served on audit, nominating and compensation committees for Mercator’s board. Those committees have all been dissolved.
Mercator said the only remaining members of the board are Harish Kumar Mittal, who founded the Indian parent of Mercator, and his son Shalabh Mittal.
