Western Bulk has moved to clear up confusion surrounding future staffing at its shipholding business following the sale of its chartering division to Christen Sveaas.
Staff had historically been employed by Western Bulk Chartering and hired, with a service fee, to both Oslo-listed Western Bulk ASA and WB Shipholding.
Now with WB Chartering separating from the public company, some in the market had believed the employees would follow leaving a void behind.
