H Vogemann of Germany is the latest company to feel the pressure of the battered dry cargo market.

In the same week as compatriot Oskar Wehr sought protection for a fleet of 12 bulkers, two capesizes from the Vogemann stable are understood to be entering “preliminary insolvency”.

The move involves the 174,000-dwt Voge Master (built 2006) and the 176,000-dwt Vogerunner (built 2008), which TradeWinds understands will not be sold and will continue to trade.
