Three dry cargoships were detained in Canada after port state inspections during July.

The 69,000-dwt bulk carrier Neelam (built 1989) was held for six days due to its emergency preparedness, hatchways and covers, and the general maintenance of the ship and equipment.



The vessel is operated by Nautilus Marine of Greece.
