Nordic Bulk Carriers of Denmark is gearing up for another odyssey along the Northern Sea Route.
The arctic adventurer said it would now use the world’s biggest ice-class bulker to carry iron ore from Russian to China, following a successful trip with a smaller ship last year.
The 76,000–dwt Sanko Odyssey (built 2010), owned by its partner Sanko Steamship of Japan, left Murmansk in Russia on Tuesday with a 70,000-ton cargo.
