Diana Shipping has recorded a smaller than forecast fourth quarter loss on its way to a fourth successive year in the red.
New York-listed Diana Shipping saw its bottom line loss ring in at $24.7m for the final three months of 2016, compared with $23.9m in the closing quarter of 2015.
Its adjusted loss per share of $0.31 was eight cents better than Wall Street had projected for the period.
