Herbjorn and Alexander Hansson have bought close to $600,000 worth of shares in Nordic American Tankers at the same time as they are ploughing money into its offshore spin-off.
New York-listed NAT says the Hanssons picked up 75,000 shares at $7.96 each last week.
While a statement says the family has added to its position as one of the company’s leading shareholders, it does not say how many shares it holds in total.
