CDB Leasing saw its bottom line rise by 48% in 2016 but the climb was not as large as anticipated.
Hong Kong-listed CDB Leasing booked a profit of CNY 1.56bn ($229m) in 2016, beating the CNY 1.05bn recorded in 2015.
However, the figure fell short of the CNY 1.86bn analysts had projected for the company.
Leasing income from its ship, commercial vehicle and construction machinery division was down 15.8%
