Sino-Global Shipping America has taken its relationship with Cosco a step forward with a new “strategic cooperation agreement”.

The Nasdaq-listed company has inked a deal with Cosco’s Ningbo Xinyang Shipping that will see Sino-Global arrange inland transportation for the Chinese giant’s container shipments into US ports.

In exchange, Sino-Global will receive a percentage for each transportation fee.

Lei Cao, chief executive of Sino-Global, said: “This agreement is a testament to the company’s ongoing efforts to provide logistic services that best meet the needs of our customers.
