Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL) has performed above expectations in the first quarter as it launched a new share buyback scheme.
The cruiseship giant booked adjusted net income of $214.7m, against $124m in the same spell of 2016.
Overall bookings for the rest of the year have gone well so far as RCCL reported quarterly revenue of $2bn, up from $1.9bn.
