Genco Shipping & Trading is pulling several ships out of bulker pools as the company works to expand its in-house commercial operation.
Genco chief executive John Wobensmith says the outfit has given notice to pool operators that it is withdrawing several supramaxes and handymaxes from their spot pools.
However, he did not say how many or which ships would be impacted.
