State-owned Cosco Shipping will announce today in Tianjin that it is launching a shipping investment fund together with Chinese state institutional investors.
The new Cosco Shipping Funds (CSF) project is set to announce itself to the world today and Cosco has poached shipfinance expert Dr Jin Hai to run it.
Jin comes from US-based Norwegian shipping investors Northern Shipping Funds, where until the end of April he headed China operations.
