Golden Ocean will be able to fully repay its deferred debt in the second quarter and is eyeing further deleveraging thanks to its reduced cash breakeven levels.
The John Fredriksen-controlled company will pay $54m of bank debt by triggering the cash sweep mechanism put in place in 2016 as earnings levels exceeded expectations at that time.
