A Diana Shipping executive has defended a decision to lend additional cash to sibling Diana Containerships.
He insists the bulker owner is not supporting its boxship spin-off and only provided additional cash to ensure a previous loan could be repaid,.
Diana Shipping was owned $42.5m by Diana Containerships and offered up a further $40m in the second quarter of this year.
