DryShips added two new members to its three-person board of directors, including an Ocean Rig employee that it considers an independent director.
The Athens-based diversified shipowner said it appointed its chief financial officer Anthony Kandylidis as a director.
In addition to being the nephew of found George Economou, Kandylidis also serves as president and chief financial officer of Ocean Rig, the drillship owner backed by Economou.
