Kirby says shipping disruptions along the US Gulf Coast due to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma will bring its third quarter earnings down to the lower end of expectations.
Chief executive David Grzebinski said the closure of Texas ports from Houston down to Corpus Christi from 23 August to 1 September "significantly dislocated normal supply and distribution routes in our inland barge business."
