Scorpio Bulkers tapped two of its existing lenders to help it fund the deal to buy six dry bulk carriers from John Fredriksen's Golden Ocean.
The New York-listed company said it has a commitment for a loan facility up to $85.5m from Nordea Bank and SEB. The amount will cover up to 60% of the market value of the ships.
