Scorpio Services Holding has added $2.5m worth of Scorpio Bulkers shares to its holding in the New York-listed shipowner.
Scorpio Services Holdings, a private company controlled by the Lolli-Ghetti family, added 350,000 extra shares at $7.19 each, a statement says.
Following its latest move the investment company has 13,977,513 shares in Scorpio Bulkers, an 18.5% stake.
Based on the last purchase price the total holding is worth a shade over $100m.
