The Croatian government is issuing a EUR 96m ($116.5m) guarantee for loans designed to restructure Uljanik Shipyard.
The move backs financing from Croatian Postal Bank and others at home and overseas, the Hina news agency reported.
The yard is awaiting approval from the European Commission for the money.
Economy minister Martina Dalic said the loans had to be paid back within six months.
