Seaways likely to take only four of six Euronav VLCCs

New York-based International Seaways is falling short of its goal to acquire six VLCCs from Euronav only days before the Belgian owner is expected to seal its acquisition of Gener8 Maritime.

Seaways is still expected to pluck four of the tankers that have been in the Gener8 fleet, with Euronav ultimately retaining the other two, market sources said this week.
