Croatia's government is talking to potential new investors in Germany, China and South Korea as it seeks to alleviate the crisis at shipbuilder Uljanik Group.

The company has been restructuring under EU rules and clinched investment from domestic tycoon Danko Koncar's Kermas Energija earlier this year.

But it was hit by strikes over unpaid wages last month and has seen four car carriers ordered by the Siem group cancelled in recent days.
