The Dubai-based company owns 37.5 million shares in Polarcusequating to a 7.4% holding in the company.
Polarcus was obliged to disclose the sale to the Oslo StockExchange, which will take place after the close of the market today.
However it gave no reason for offloading the stake.
ABG Sundal Collier and SEB Enskilda are managing the sale.
