In the US investment bank’s marine master limited partnership (MLP) outlook, Michael Webber noted he is confident the US-listed tanker owner can absorb losses tied to the bankruptcy of Overseas Shipholding Group without interrupting an annual distribution of $0.93 per unit.

“A big part of that sustained distribution comes from support from CPP’s sponsor (11 vessels chartered-back),” the equity analyst explained.
