London-basedGenesis Asset Managers has emerged with a combined 5% interest in the globalport operator.
It controls some 97m ICTSIshares which were purchased from the open market on separate occasions, accordingto a financial filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Genesisdescribes itself as a specialist investment manager in emerging markets servingclients in the UK, the US, Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
Lastmonth ICTSIreported a 10% rise in 2012 profits which were $144m, compared to $131m seenthe year before.
