Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) will providea total of JPY 21.7bn ($220m) towards the cost of the vessels which will beused to ship volumes from the Ichthys and Australia Pacific LNG projects.
The financing amounts to slightly over half the cost of thecarriers which carry a price tag of around $200m apiece.
In a statement JBIC said the loan is syndicated withoutdetailing any of the other lenders involved.
