News agency Belga said a group called Antwerp Dry Docks will pay EUR 800,000 ($1.08m) for the yard in a court-approved deal.

The consortium consists of Brabo, Roll-iT, Navitec and Engine Deck Repair.

The repairer filed for court protection last week.

The new plan could save 45 jobs out of 94.

Italian group Palumbo had offered EUR 3.6m.

ASR had been operating under legal supervision since 2012 to avoid a bankruptcy.
